Grapes: Nero d'Avola, Cabernet Sauvignon
 Sensory Characteristics: Nero d'Avola contributes a distinct fruity component, expressed through intense, ripe aromas of blackberry, wild strawberry, and raspberry, well-integrated with the distinctive notes of Cabernet Sauvignon. Indeed, this great international grape variety reaches excellent levels of ripeness in Sicily and contributes to the blend both aromas of currant and red berries, as well as the structure and body that lend longevity and depth to the final product. Finally, the most evolved aromatic notes derive from the long but careful management of the aging in barriques and are expressed through aromas of licorice, tobacco, and plums, which, combined with a subtle hint of vanilla, give this wine a remarkable quality.
 Pairings: Excellent with pasta with ragù, grilled meats, game, and aged cheeses. It also pairs well with grilled fish and tuna or swordfish steaks.
